Sadly, we mourn the loss of Randy Fjeld and his wife Sally, who died on New Years Day while returning from a family vacation in Wyoming. The Minnesota Irish are proud to announce some recent off-the-field activity from this fall. Katie Thun (verbal, Hermantown) has committed to North Dakota State Bison, Kayla Wenner has signed with the Minnesota Gophers, and Tricia DeBoer has signed with the North Dakota Fighting Sioux.
The Minnesota Irish 14U/Monroe traveled to Kansas City, Missouri to play in the 14UB USSSA World Series Fastpitch Championship July 18-24. Minnesota Irish would like to invite you to open tryouts for their program for the 2012 MFL summer season. • The Irish have established one of the strongest club programs in the state. • The program goal is to play in ASA "A" Nationals and to play against the toughest competition available • Irish have won more state championship and have more players playing at the college level than any other club programs • Irish is invited to the top showcase tournaments in the country and also bring in 30 college coaches to the Irish showcase • Irish was the program that have 16 and 18’s in the Boulder showcase tournament, attended the Adidas showcase and the top showcases in Chicago, Kansas City and Iowa We’re only looking for players that are looking to play at the highest level of softball and the goal of playing college softball.
