Candace James Signs
Candy James (pictured right) signed a letter of intent to play softball at St. Cloud State. Candy’s mom and stepdad are James and Gerri Northern. Candace has participated several year in the Irish program. Congratulations, and good luck at St. Cloud!
Irish Attend Heartland Classic
The Irish had three teams participate in the 2010 Heartland Classic in Des Moines, Iowa this past weekend. The 14U-Monroe, 16U-Rohr and 16/18U-Gold teams played against a variety of teams from Iowa and Kansas City. A Manitoba team was also present at the event. Irish Attending Sun City Showcase
The 18 Gold Minnesota Irish have been invited to attend the 2010 Sun City Showcase event in Kissimmee, FL in November.
Additional Tryouts Announced
A second tryout date has been added for Saturday, August 14, at Erickson Park in Rosemount.
18 Gold in Marietta for ASA Nationals
The Minnesota Irish 18 Gold have traveled to Marietta, GA to face the top 64 teams in the country in what is affectionately called “the big show”.
