Summer Tournaments Announced

Each summer the MN Irish host at least one tournament – their college showcase. As in past years, Friday will feature a college showcase during the day. Sadly, we mourn the loss of Randy Fjeld and his wife Sally, who died on New Years Day while returning from a family vacation in Wyoming. The Minnesota Irish are proud to announce some recent off-the-field activity from this fall. Katie Thun (verbal, Hermantown) has committed to North Dakota State Bison, Kayla Wenner has signed with the Minnesota Gophers, and Tricia DeBoer has signed with the North Dakota Fighting Sioux.

18 Gold Rookies Recap

The Irish 18 Gold team kicked of its season by playing in the Rookies tournament in St. Paul this past weekend. A team that comprised many of the 16U Gold team played up at 18U, and went 2-2-1 over the weekend, tied for 3rd place.
